VinFast hits 60-dealership mark, Enters Bihar with first 3S outlet

VinFast Auto India has expanded its retail footprint with the inauguration of its first 3S dealership in Bihar, taking the company’s total sales network in the country to 60 outlets. Located in Patna, the new showroom marks VinFast’s debut in the state and represents another step in the Vietnamese EV manufacturer’s ongoing expansion across India. The dealership has been established by Patliputra Motors Private Limited and is located on NH-30, Bypass Road, Paijawa.The facility spans 11,500 sq ft and combines vehicle sales, after-sales support and servicing at a single location. Customers can explore the brand’s electric vehicle portfolio in a dedicated 3,000 sq ft showroom, while trained sales and service personnel will assist buyers through every stage of ownership.The opening of the Patna outlet comes exactly a year after VinFast launched its first showroom in India, making it an important milestone in the company’s domestic expansion. With its first presence in Bihar, the automaker is further extending its reach into eastern India while continuing its strategy of strengthening operations in Tier-II and Tier-III markets, alongside major metropolitan centres.VinFast has also reaffirmed its plan to establish 75 dealerships across more than 60 Indian cities before the end of 2026, further expanding its retail and after-sales presence. Speaking on the occasion, Tapan Ghosh, CEO of VinFast India, said the company’s arrival in Bihar marks an important chapter in its India growth story. He added that VinFast will continue investing in a robust dealership and service network while working to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles across the country.Apart from expanding its retail operations, the company is also focusing on building a wider EV ecosystem through local manufacturing, charging infrastructure, strategic partnerships and a circular battery value chain aimed at supporting India’s shift towards sustainable transportation. VinFast currently retails the VF 6 and VF 7 premium electric SUVs in India. Both models have received 5-star Bharat NCAP safety ratings and are offered with ownership benefits that include roadside assistance, three years of complimentary maintenance, and warranty coverage of up to 10 years or 2,00,000km, depending on the variant.The company’s portfolio also includes the VF MPV 7, an all-electric seven-seater that offers an ARAI-certified driving range of 517km. It also supports DC fast charging from 10 per cent to 70 per cent in approximately 30 minutes.To further encourage EV adoption, VinFast offers a Value Assured Programme that provides predetermined buyback values after a specified ownership period. Customers also receive complimentary charging on the V-Green charging network until March 31, 2029, while the company’s ‘Trade Gas for Electric’ initiative has been introduced to help owners of petrol and diesel vehicles transition to electric mobility more easily.
