Urvashi Rautela has weighed in on the controversies surrounding her collaboration with Balakrishna, offering a contrasting take on the superstar’s on-set behaviour and his much-discussed interactions with fans.In a recent interaction with Radio Nasha, Urvashi addressed the chatter around their viral song and related backlash, saying, “I don’t know… sometimes it’s like one thing leads to another thing, then third thing, fourth thing… it was like that,” suggesting how the controversy escalated.Despite the criticism around their collaboration in Daaku Maharaaj, particularly the song Dabidi Dibidi which drew backlash online, she maintained that her experience remained positive.“Working with him was definitely really, really amazing… and if you watch the film, do watch our action sequences also… that is really kick,” she added, calling herself “lucky” to work with him.

Addressing this, Urvashi claimed she had witnessed such moments.“Yeah, many times I’ve seen… and it always used to be like… it used to be fun watching all this,” she said.She further added that fans don’t necessarily take offence. “They also love it… they are also happy… you won’t imagine,” she said, adding a personal anecdote, “Last year on Valentine’s Day, Balakrishna garu was the first person who wished me.”

‘Very childlike and fun-loving’

Offering a different perspective on his personality, Urvashi described Balakrishna as approachable and energetic.“He is very childlike and he is very fun-loving… and obviously he is a massive, massive superstar… super energetic he is,” she said.She also addressed his perceived ‘angry’ image, adding, “It’s not like that every time he is in that zone. He is very down to earth and he loves talking to people… especially with kids.”
