Rise and Fall Season 2 recently premiered and has already been grabbing attention with heated arguments and changing equations among the contestants. The Virender Sehwag-hosted reality show premiered on September 26, with 15 contestants competing in its Rulers-versus-Workers format. Among them are Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, Swara Bhasker and Shehzad Poonawalla.A recent episode saw Priyanka and Shehzad get into a heated argument. Priyanka called Shehzad a ‘man child’, following which he called her a ‘gold digger’. The remark left Priyanka visibly upset, and she later opened up about it while speaking to Swara the following morning.Speaking to Swara, Priyanka recalled how Shehzad’s words kept playing in her head throughout the night. She said, “Kal gold digger bol ke gaya. Meri raat poori raat mere dimaag mein ghoomta raha, kyunki mere parivaar ko paalne wali main hoon aur ye mujhe gold digger bolta hai.” (He called me a gold digger yesterday. It kept playing in my head the entire night because I am the one who supports my family, and he calls me a gold digger.)Priyanka further said that she could not sleep because of the incident and expressed her anger over being called a gold digger. The remark appeared to have particularly affected her because, as she pointed out, she is the one who supports her family financially.Swara Bhasker listened to Priyanka as she opened up about the incident and said that people sometimes say things in anger without considering how their words might affect someone. She said, “Sochhe-samjhe cheezein bolta hai jab woh naraaz hota hai, woh kuch bhi bolta hai.” (When he is angry, he says things without thinking; he says just about anything.)Swara further said, “Mujhe nahi lagta ki usne socha tha is shabd ke kya-kya matlab nikal sakte hain aur woh kaise hurt kar sakta hai ek aurat ko.” (I don’t think he thought about the different meanings of that word or how hurtful it could be to a woman.)Swara also acknowledged that Priyanka was unlikely to simply let the incident go. She said, “Aur Priyanka, of course, chhodegi nahi. Ismein koi do raaye nahi hai ki woh ek achiever hai.” (And Priyanka, of course, won’t let it go. There is no doubt that she is an achiever.)The incident adds to the growing tension inside the Rise and Fall 2 house, where contestants have been navigating arguments, changing equations and power struggles since the reality show premiered.
