With clear to mostly clear skies and no rainfall, citizens are facing intense heat during the afternoon, while nights too have remained relatively warm. The region has been witnessing a combination of deficient rainfall, dry air, clear skies and temperatures several degrees above normal — conditions that have intensified October heat. Though IMD issued a thunderstorm/lightning warning for Vidarbha for Wednesday, the precipitation was minimal.
