Lucknow: Over 9.5 crore beneficiaries have availed healthcare services under Ayushman Bharat in Uttar Pradesh since the scheme’s launch in the state, with more than six crore Ayushman cards issued so far, SACHIS CEO Archana Verma said on Wednesday.Addressing ‘Ayushman Samvad: From Coverage to Outcomes’ at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Verma said the next phase of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana will move beyond enrolment to focus on treatment outcomes, quality of care and stronger accountability of healthcare providers.She said PM-JAY’s success should not be judged only by coverage numbers, adding that the state is prioritising data-based decision-making and effective service management.The event marked eight years of PM-JAY and five years of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
