The National Institute of Design (NID) has started the registration process for the NID Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) 2027. The entrance exam is for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and five-year Professional Education Master of Design (M.Des) Integrated Pathway programmes for the 2027-28 academic session.Candidates can fill out the NID DAT 2027 application form through the official NID admissions website, admissions.nid.edu.The last date to submit the application form with the prescribed fee is November 30, 2026, up to 11:59 pm.NID has scheduled the DAT Prelims 2027 for December 20, 2026. NID DAT 2027 application fee
Candidates applying for the B.Des and five-year Integrated M.Des programmes have to pay the application fee based on their category. For the regular M.Des programme at NID Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Gandhinagar, the fee is charged separately for each discipline.
