JEECUP 2026 admit card: The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has revised the schedule for the UPJEE Polytechnic 2026 entrance examination and announced details regarding the release of admit cards. According to the latest notification issued by the Council, the JEECUP 2026 examination will now be conducted from June 2 to June 9, 2026, replacing the earlier schedule between May 15 and May 22.The Council has stated that the JEECUP 2026 admit cards are expected to be released on May 25 through the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Candidates appearing for the examination have been advised to visit the portal regularly for updates, examination guidelines and counselling-related notifications.JEECUP 2026 revised schedule releasedThe JEECUP 2026 application process began on January 15. Authorities had earlier extended the application deadline to May 10, while the last date for fee payment was May 12. As per the updated schedule, the final date to apply for JEECUP 2026 is May 20.The entrance examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test mode in both English and Hindi languages. Candidates appearing for the examination will be required to carry their admit card, a valid government-issued photo identity proof, a recent photograph and a transparent ballpoint pen to the examination centre.How candidates can download admit cardsRegistered candidates will be able to download the JEECUP 2026 admit card online using their application number and password or date of birth. To access the document, candidates must visit the official website and click on the “Download JEECUP Admit Card 2026” link for their registered group.After logging in, the admit card will appear on the screen. Candidates are advised to download and print the document for future reference. The admit card will contain details including the candidate’s name, roll number, examination date and time, examination centre address, photograph and signature.Marking scheme and exam day guidelinesThe JEECUP 2026 examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates will receive four marks for every correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.Candidates are not permitted to carry mobile phones, calculators, loose papers, study material, pagers, slide rules or electronic devices into the examination hall. Following the declaration of results, qualified candidates will participate in the online counselling process involving registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment. The counselling process is expected to begin in June or July 2026.
