JEE Main 2027 Session 1: Candidates who made mistakes while filling out the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 application form can now submit a fresh online application, even if they have already generated an Application Number or paid the examination fee. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced this facility through a public notice dated October 30, 2026, following representations from candidates who reported errors in their submitted forms.Under the revised instructions, candidates can complete a new application with corrected details by November 22, 2026, at 11:50 PM. However, NTA has clarified that only the last application for which the examination fee has been successfully paid and the Confirmation Page generated will be considered valid. The agency has also warned candidates against appearing in the examination using multiple Application Numbers.Which JEE Main 2027 application will be considered valid?NTA has specified that the last successfully completed application will determine a candidate’s valid registration for Session 1.Candidates submitting a fresh form will receive a new Application Number. They must enter all their details again and upload the required documents, including their photograph and signature. If a candidate submits a fresh application but fails to complete the fee payment and generate the Confirmation Page, the earlier application for which both requirements were fulfilled will remain valid.Earlier application fee will not be adjustedCandidates planning to submit a fresh application should note that the examination fee paid against their earlier form will neither be refunded nor adjusted against the new application. This means candidates who have already paid the fee must make a separate payment when completing their fresh application. They should check all details carefully before submitting the new form.Minor corrections? Use the correction windowNTA has advised candidates who only need to change or amend certain details to use the application correction facility instead of submitting a fresh form. The correction window will remain available from November 27 to November 29, 2026.NTA warns against appearing with multiple Application NumbersSubmitting more than one application does not permit candidates to appear multiple times in the same examination session.NTA has clarified that candidates who appear or attempt to appear in the examination using more than one Application Number will be treated as having used Unfair Means (UFM). Action will be taken according to the Information Bulletin. However, simply holding multiple Application Numbers without appearing in the examination using them will not be considered UFM.JEE Main 2027 fresh application deadline
