Thiruvananthapuram: A 38-year-old two-wheeler rider was killed after she was run over by a KSRTC bus while attempting to overtake it at Channankara on Sunday morning. The deceased was Rajimol, a native of Channankara, near Kazhakkoottam.According to Kadinamkulam Police, as Rajimol attempted to overtake a KSRTC bus, her scooter collided with a mini truck approaching from the opposite direction. The scooter also hit the bus. In the impact, Rajimol lost control of the vehicle and fell on the road, and the rear wheel of the bus ran over her body. She died on the spot, the police said.The body was initially shifted to the mortuary of Chirayinkeezhu Taluk Hospital and was later taken to Paripally Medical College for postmortem.
