The firing incident involving Tiger Shroff near a football ground in Juhu has disrupted the weekly routine of the All Stars Football Club (ASFC). Club owner Bunty Walia has cancelled the team’s Sunday practice sessions until further notice, with the matches expected to resume only after the necessary security arrangements are in place. The decision comes amid concerns over the safety of the many Bollywood actors who regularly participate in the club’s football sessions.

ASFC suspends Sunday practice after Tiger Shroff firing incident

For years, Sunday evenings have been reserved for football practice for members of the All Stars Football Club at the Jamnabai Narsee School playground in Juhu. However, the team’s weekly ritual was called off on October 25, following the October 18 incident outside the ground involving Tiger Shroff.According to Mid Day, the incident, in which five to seven bullets were reportedly fired at the actor’s car by two men on a motorcycle, has left the team shaken. The report confirmed that Walia had cancelled the October 25 practice match and would not announce the next session until a security plan was in place.“The October 25 practice match was cancelled by Bunty Walia. He is clear that till a security plan is put in place, he won’t announce the next match. Many actors are part of the ASFC, including Abhishek Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan, and Ranbir Kapoor. Everyone’s safety is top priority,” the report stated.

Bunty Walia says ASFC will consult police before resuming matches

When contacted by the afore mentioned publication, Walia confirmed that the practice session had been cancelled in the aftermath of the incident. He said the club would need to discuss the way forward with the police before resuming its regular football sessions.“We are not sure about the next practice session. We’ll need to discuss with the police as to how to go forward. We cannot resume till we put the necessary safety norms in place,” Walia said. The case is currently being investigated by the Mumbai Crime Branch. Until the club finalises the necessary precautions, its next practice session remains uncertain.

ASFC may keep match dates and venues confidential

As part of the proposed security measures, the club may also look at keeping its football sessions away from the attention of paparazzi. According to the report, ASFC could keep the dates and venues of future matches confidential to avoid drawing unnecessary attention to the gatherings. The suspension marks a pause in a regular sporting activity that brings together several members of the film industry. For now, the club’s priority is to establish adequate safety arrangements before its celebrity football matches resume.
