RAJAHMUNDRY: A 16-year-old girl who met Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu during the Mega Parent-Teacher Meet held four days ago, on Friday, at Rampa Chodavaram, and shared her dreams with him, ended her life by suicide on Sunday night.The chief minister was shocked by the demise of the bright student and ordered an inquiry into her death. Murram Sivani, a Class 10 student and a native of Irlapalli in Polavaram district, was studying at the Government High School in Rampachodavaram. Her father, Muralikrishna, and mother, Sowbhagyavati, had parted ways eight years ago. Sivani used to visit her village, Irlapalli, where her grandmother lived, while her mother visited her three times a week from Vedurupaka village, where she worked as an Anganwadi worker. She appeared to be deeply disturbed due to her family problems. In her suicide letter, Sivani blamed no one for her death. Instead, she called for the reunion of her family, including her father, mother, and grandmother. Although she did not want to die, she wrote that she was not in a position to continue living. She urged her family members, including her father, mother, grandmother, brother, and sister-in-law, to live happily. She expressed regret that she could not do anything for her mother and could not fulfil her father’s dreams. Moved by the demise of the bright student, chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that he recalled the dreams and future plans Sivani had shared when he interacted with her four days earlier. Expressing shock over the death of the bright tribal student, he said that she had passed away without fulfilling her dreams. He directed the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
