While the two have raised a lot of funds for their foundation, Eat, Play & learn, the high profile couple have made another multi million dollar move.

A few hours ago, Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry’s foundation, Eat, Learn & Play recently took to its social media to make a post that read as, “The seventh annual Workday Charity Classic was one for the books! An incredible day, all in support of @eatlearnplay. Grateful to @workday, co-founder Aneel Bhusri, and everyone who came out.”The post added, “Thanks in part to a generous match from Aneel, this year’s event raised more than $5.6 million with funds going straight toward Eat. Learn. Play.’s mission: helping a generation of Oakland students access nutritious food, quality reading resources, and opportunities to play and be active. Thank you to everyone who made this event a success and for standing with us in support of Oakland students.”This was not the first time that the high profile couple have raised millions to help underprivileged children and families in Oakland.For close to a decade, both Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, have raised over $100 million funds which have gone directly to the community they have been able to build back in their hometown in Oakland.The two have been able to build schools, playgrounds and provide meals to children coming from underprivileged backgrounds in Oakland.

A few days ago, at the annual golf tournament hosted by Workday, Stephen Curry opened up about their foundation’s impact in Oakland as he said, “The clarity around how, you know, our impact would show up around the play yard builds, library renovations, those type of things, that’s been the biggest, I guess, reward that we’ve had because we understand…”The four time NBA champion added, “Ayesha has a, a great story she tells about a kid that, when she got to en- enjoy or see, the unveiling of one of our first playground builds, it was a surprise to her that that was for her and her classmates and her students, so like, or her friends, as a place that was, you know, built and, and dreamed of for them.”Ahead of the new season, the focus remains on the legend Stephen Curry as he spends his time in recovery while preparing to return to court.
