He’s inside. He’s got guns,” he said. Further explaining how the neighbor even tried to frame him and malign his reputation. “He calls two hookers and tries to frame me. He sends two hookers up to the house for me, I’m not even there, as a smokescreen,” Avery added.Meanwhile, TMZ reported that the LAPD received a 911 call from Avery’s home around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The website reported that the neighbour was harassing and threatening the contractors working on the renovations. But when the cops went there to check, it was all peaceful and safe. Later, they were called back around 5 p.m., when shots were fired.Following the incident, the cops subsequently arrested the suspect, believed to be Avery’s neighbor. However, no injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing. It is to be noted that Avery played all 12 NHL seasons with teams including the New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Dallas Stars, and Detroit Red Wings.
