The West Indies series has already been a memorable one for Rohit Sharma. After scoring a century in the second ODI and completing 12,000 ODI runs, the Indian opener added another milestone to his name in the third and final ODI at Mullanpur.With India already holding an unassailable 2-0 lead, captain Shubman Gill opted to bat first after winning the toss. Rohit quickly reached another landmark, becoming only the fourth batter in ODI history to score 10,000 runs as an opener.Rohit reached the milestone in just 202 innings, making him the fastest batter to 10,000 ODI runs as an opener. He joined an elite list featuring Sachin Tendulkar (15,310), Sanath Jayasuriya (12,740) and Chris Gayle (10,179).

Seales strikes twice as Gill, Kohli depart cheaply

India, however, endured a difficult start after losing two quick wickets.
