‘Pushpa’ actor Allu Arjun is reportedly set to miss the latest hearing in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. According to the latest reports, the actor will not be physically present before the Nampally Court in Hyderabad during the scheduled proceedings. Reports from India Today suggest that Allu Arjun’s legal representatives are expected to attend the hearing on his behalf. Reports further indicate that a request has been submitted seeking permission for the actor to participate virtually instead of appearing in person.

Case linked to ‘Pushpa 2’ premiere tragedy

The issue is related to the tragic incident that occurred during a special screening of ‘Pushpa 2’ in Hyderabad in December 2024. The event attracted a massive crowd and this led to serious law-and-order concerns outside the theatre premises. Reports indicate that the court had directed several accused individuals, including the actor, to appear before it for the ongoing hearing.The incident occurred at Sandhya Theatre in Chikkadpally when large numbers of people gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor during a special screening event. During the chaos that followed, a woman lost her life. Her young son also suffered serious injuries and required extensive medical treatment.Following the incident, the actor was taken into custody as part of the investigation before later obtaining legal relief through the courts. The matter has remained under judicial consideration ever since. According to reports, Allu Arjun has been named as Accused No. 11 in the case. Reportedly, financial support was extended to the affected family.

The meeting was facilitated by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
