Kullu: A 69-year-old American paraglider, who took off from Billing, made an emergency landing in a field at Ghorni village in the Jogindernagar subdivision of Mandi district on Monday evening after being swept away by strong winds.His glider became entangled in a power line, but he escaped unhurt without any injuries.According to officials, the paraglider, Chris, was supposed to land in Bir but was apparently blown off course by strong winds, forcing him to make an emergency landing.The incident occurred between 4 pm and 4.30 pm, drawing a crowd of local residents who rushed to see what had happened. Chris has been staying in Bir for around a week. The locals arranged a taxi for Chris which took him back to Bir.
