NICL AO recruitment 2026: National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has released the recruitment notification for Administrative Officers (Generalists and Specialists) Scale I posts. The recruitment drive will fill 321 vacancies across Generalist and specialist disciplines, including Finance, Legal, Information Technology, Automobile Engineering, Risk Engineering, Company Secretaries and Agriculture.The notification was issued on October 7, 2026. Age relaxation will apply according to the applicable rules.The application fee is Rs. 1,000 for UR, General, OBC and EWS candidates. SC, ST and PwBD candidates have to pay Rs. 250. Payments must be made online.NICL AO selection processThe selection process consists of a Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Personal Interview, Document Verification and Medical Examination.The Preliminary Examination will be an online objective test carrying 100 marks. The Main Examination comprises an objective test carrying 250 marks and a descriptive test carrying 30 marks. The Personal Interview and Main Examination objective score carry an 80:20 weightage.Probation and service bondSelected candidates will remain on probation for one year from the date of joining. During this period, officers must pass the non-life Licentiate Examination conducted by the Insurance Institute of India.Candidates will also have to sign a Guarantee Bond requiring them to serve NICL for at least four years, including the probation period. Leaving before completion of the bond period will attract liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s gross salary, along with applicable partial training costs.
