Kurukshetra: A Kurukshetra fast-track special court has sentenced Nikhil, a Thanesar resident, to life imprisonment and fined him Rs 1.5 lakh for raping a minor girl.Kurukshetra district attorney Jaimal said that the victim, a resident of Kurukshetra district, filed a complaint on June 3, 2023.In her complaint, she said Nikhil, whom she encountered while going for tuition in 2020, lured her with a promise of marriage in 2021, when she was 17, and sexually assaulted her. He continued exploiting her on the false promise of marriage.
