Kiara Advani believes her upcoming film ‘Toxic’ could mark a turning point in her career. Speaking at the trailer launch in Bengaluru, the actress opened up about playing Nadia. She credited director Geetu Mohandas and co-star Yash for trusting her with a role that pushed her further than she had imagined for herself.

According to the India Today report, when asked what drew her to the character, Kiara Advani said it all came down to the faith her director and co-star placed in her. She said, “I truly believe that Geetu and Yash manifested for me to be Nadia in this film.” She further shared, “They saw it in me and believed I was capable of this much before I knew that fearless leap that I was ready to take as an actor.”The actress added that watching parts of the finished film has made her especially thankful for that trust, calling the role a milestone in her career. She said, “For giving me a part that I know will be very, very special for me as an actor in my journey. I think there will be a Kiara before Toxic and a Kiara after ‘Toxic’.”Kiara Advani chose not to reveal much about what sets Nadia apart from her earlier roles. She expressed, “I cannot wait for the world to experience Nadia. I don’t think I can describe her in one word. So I’m just going to let you go and experience it.”

The movie was shot simultaneously in Kannada and English. It is set to hit theatres on August 26, 2026.
