Sources close to the project reportedly confirmed that the veteran actor began shooting alongside Salman in Mumbai. A source told the publication that Shroff has been given a dynamic role that is expected to draw a strong audience reaction, adding that despite earlier speculation, he is not playing the film’s main antagonist but a character central to the narrative.

This latest development has helped clear up earlier speculation about Jackie Shroff’s role in the film. While previous reports had suggested he might play the primary villain, the updated casting details indicate his character carries no negative shades. The Vamshi Paidipally-directed action entertainer is set to feature several actors in antagonistic roles. A source confirmed that the casting for all the negative roles has been finalised, describing the project as a film built around multiple antagonists. The Indian leg of the shoot is expected to continue through the end of August, after which the team will travel to Europe for a shorter schedule before wrapping production.

The yet-untitled film marks Salman Khan’s first collaboration with acclaimed Telugu filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally, known for directing ‘Oopiri,’ ‘Maharshi,’ and ‘Varisu.’ The project also brings Nayanthara on board as the female lead, marking her first-ever pairing with Salman Khan on screen. Currently in production, the film will move from its Mumbai and India shooting schedule to a European leg before completion.
