Hisar police freeze Rs 69.3L assets linked to drug trafficking accused
The accused told police they had been buying from the supplier for two months

Hisar: Hisar police have frozen assets and financial holdings worth Rs 69.3 lakh allegedly linked to proceeds of drug trafficking.The action was taken under Section 68 F (1) of the NDPS Act against Anuj alias Noji, a Peerawali resident currently living in Fatehabad. Police said he was arrested after 261g of heroin, a commercial quantity, was recovered from him in a case registered at Hisar City police station on March 20, 2025.The NDPS cell has confirmed the freezing order concerning “illegally acquired property and assets“ registered in the names of Anuj alias Noji, Manu, Anita Rani, Sarvano Bai and Gobind Singh.The frozen assets include land and a two-storey building in Fatehabad worth Rs 56 lakh, vehicles worth Rs 11.8 lakh and Rs 1.52 lakh in bank accounts.Hisar SP Siddhant Jain said the action would not be restricted to arresting suppliers and traffickers but would also target properties, vehicles, bank accounts and other assets allegedly acquired through proceeds of the illegal drug trade.
