Himachal Pradesh governor Kavinder Gupta
Shimla: Governor Kavinder Gupta and chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Saturday extended Diwali greetings to the people of Himachal Pradesh, wishing them happiness, prosperity and peace.The governor said Diwali symbolised the victory of good over evil and light over darkness, and expressed hope that the festival would bring joy to every household.Sukhu said the festival conveyed the message of goodwill, unity and brotherhood. He urged people to celebrate in the traditional spirit while remaining mindful of environmental protection and ensuring responsible celebrations.
