Glance, the AI-powered consumer platform backed by InMobi, has announced a new shopping experience for iPhone and iPad users, integrating its personalised shopping assistant with Apple’s next-generation Siri AI powered by Apple Intelligence. The company said the feature will allow users to discover products, receive recommendations and shop through conversational interactions with Siri AI, eliminating the need to switch between multiple apps and interfaces. The announcement comes after the release of iOS 27, Apple’s latest software update for iPhone.
Shopping through Siri AI
According to Glance, users can invoke its shopping platform directly through Siri AI and ask for personalised product recommendations using natural language prompts. For example, users can ask Siri AI to find “red shoes for a marathon” or suggest outfits for an upcoming holiday, with Glance generating tailored shopping recommendations based on an individual’s preferences and previous interactions. The company said the experience is designed to help users move from inspiration to purchase through a more conversational and contextual interface. In addition to voice commands, iPhone users will be able to access Siri AI through the side button or by swiping down from the Dynamic Island to start a shopping conversation.
Focus on ‘agentic shopping’
Commenting on the launch, Naveen Tewari, Founder and CEO of InMobi and Glance, said the retail industry is shifting beyond traditional search-based shopping experiences. “The future of commerce is moving beyond search toward agentic shopping, where AI understands what a person wants and helps them act on it in the moment,” Tewari said.“Bringing Glance to Apple devices moves us closer to a world where everyone can have a personal shopper available wherever inspiration happens.”
Virtual try-on feature rolling out
Glance said its updated app leverages the next generation of Apple Intelligence to explain why a product may be relevant to a specific user. The app also adopts Apple’s Liquid Glass design language to deliver a consistent experience across iPhone and iPad. The company has additionally begun rolling out an on-device virtual try-on feature powered by Apple’s Core AI framework. The feature generates images directly on the device, including when users are offline, and is aimed at delivering faster and more private virtual shopping experiences. Glance said the virtual try-on capability will become available on all eligible devices later this year.Glance said its AI shopping platform is already integrated across smartphones, connected TVs and digital brand environments through distribution partnerships covering approximately 60 million devices, primarily in the United States. The company said the latest Siri AI integration extends its reach to Apple’s ecosystem while maintaining a branded and personalised shopping experience for users.
