Lucknow: Five students from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) and a sports teacher from Bulandshahr met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Raksha Bandhan.Accompanied by teacher Milli Asthana, the girls — Tamanna, Priyanshi, Prachi, Soni, and Chetna — represented Uttar Pradesh chosen to meet the President for Raksha Bandhan.Officials said the interaction was inspiring and a memorable experience for students, encouraging them to dream bigger and pursue excellence.District magistrate Kumar Harsh said the achievement reflects the confidence, talent and potential of Bulandshahr’s daughters.
