Bhilwara: A massive fire broke out at a warehouse in Kamdhaj Nagar area of Nimbahera town in Chittorgarh district Monday.SP Dharmendra Singh said that the fire broke out in the three-storey warehouse of Kabra Tent House. Around a dozen fire tenders reached the spot which were able to bring the blaze under control after hours of firefighting.The warehouse stored large quantities of tents, cloth, decorative materials and other highly combustible goods, which allowed the fire to spread quickly. The flames reached the third floor, forcing firefighters to make extensive efforts to contain the blaze.According to initial estimates, goods worth several lakh rupees were destroyed in the fire. The exact extent of the loss will be assessed after a detailed survey and the statement of the warehouse owner, police said.Authorities have also begun an investigation into the cause of the fire. No casualties have been reported so far.
