‘Rise and Fall 2’ recently premiered and the new season has been keeping fans entertained with its mix of drama, competition and unexpected conversations. In an exclusive interview with Times of India TV, contestant Sara Gurpal opened up about Sehwag joining the show and also shared her thoughts on the change in host from Ashneer Grover.Talking about Virender Sehwag hosting the season, Sara said, “Unke show mein hone ko lekar kahun, toh I think woh meri sabse badi excitement hai is show ke baare mein, aur sabse badi inspiration bhi. Kyunki Haryana se hain hamare sher, aur hum bhi Haryana se hain, toh maza aayega.” (If I talk about him being on the show, I think he is my biggest excitement about the show and also my biggest inspiration. He is a lion from Haryana, and we are also from Haryana, so it will be fun.)She further spoke about their shared roots and said she was looking forward to meeting him for the first time. “Mujhe lagta hai ki Haryana-Haryana bolte hue dil bhi bahut milte hain, aur mujhe maza aayega unse milkar. Main pehle unse nahi mili hoon.” (I feel that people from Haryana share a natural connection, and I will enjoy meeting him. I have never met him before.)Sara also revealed that she relates to Sehwag’s straightforward personality. “Woh cheezon ko lekar bade straightforward hain, and mujhe bhi lagta hai ki main kaafi had tak aisi hi hoon, so it’ll be fun.” (He is very straightforward about things, and I also feel that I am quite similar in that way, so it will be fun.)When asked about Ashneer Grover, who hosted the previous season, and the change in host, Sara said, “To be very honest, I’m very happy with the changes the most. Recalling her mother’s reaction, she said, “Mamma was very happy. My sister watches all Bigg Boss, sab dekhti hai reality. So she told me that it’s a very good opportunity to prove yourself, as I couldn’t prove myself enough in Bigg Boss.”Explaining why she wanted to take up the opportunity, Sara added, “And I think she’s right. Kahin na kahin that thing is missing, and I want to do it for myself.” (And I think she’s right. Somewhere, that thing is missing, and I want to do it for myself.)Rise and Fall Season 2 premiered on September 26 and is hosted by Virender Sehwag.
