Bhubaneswar: BJD president and former CM Naveen Patnaik on Sunday expressed concern over the credibility of India’s examination system, saying the erosion of public trust in it could have far-reaching consequences for the country’s future. In a post on X, Naveen wrote, “The damage goes far beyond a failed exam. It shatters faith in the very foundation of the education system. It tells deserving students that hard work no longer matters, and robs them of their only ladder out of poverty.”BJP state vice-president Golak Mohapatra said Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan should be commended for exposing the alleged NEET paper leak, ordering a CBI probe into the matter and conducting a re-examination to ensure that genuine candidates were not deprived of the fruits of their hard work.
