However, former minister S P Velumani and three other AIADMK MLAs remained inside the House.AIADMK had supported the resolution against Mekedatu dam on Friday but had opposed the clause for a new tribunal which was added to the resolution based on the request from Leader of the Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin.EPS wanted to raise the issue, but the speaker denied permission. Speaking to reporters outside the assembly, EPS said a circular should be issued to the members as per Rule 104 of the House if there was an amendment being made to the resolution tabled in the assembly. “This procedure was not followed. It amounts to a breach of privilege of the members,” he said. EPS said they did not support the amended resolution passed on Friday.
