'Entire centre compromised': Viral video alleges candidates using mobiles to answer questions— watch

A video allegedly showing large-scale cheating during a government computer-based examination has gone viral on social media. The footage, shared by a user identified as Raj Academy Prayagraj, appears to show candidates using mobile phones while taking an online examination. Some individuals can also be seen standing near candidates, allegedly helping them answer questions. Sharing the clip, the user alleged that widespread malpractice was taking place at the examination centre. In the post, the user wrote in Hindi that candidates were openly solving questions on mobile phones and using AI tools to find answers. The user further claimed that the entire centre appeared compromised and warned that such practices would discourage honest students while worsening unemployment. The video quickly attracted strong reactions online. One social media user described the incident as a complete mockery of students who spend months preparing for competitive examinations.“When merit is bypassed, incompetent people slip through the cracks, and companies lose faith in degrees altogether. It kills the motivation for the next generation to even pick up a book. The authorities need to identify this centre and cancel the process immediately. No transparency, no merit,” the user wrote. The viral clip comes at a time when the country’s examination system is already under scrutiny amid NEET paper leak and allegations on CBSE’s evaluation process. On Saturday, several CUET-UG 2026 examination centres reportedly faced delays and disruptions because of technical issues. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday esclated the attack on Center over the recurring examination controversies. Referring to NEET, CBSE, SSC and CUET, he wrote on X, “NEET. CBSE. SSC. And today CUET. Four exams. One crore children. Not a single one conducted with honesty.”He also criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the government had failed to conduct major national examinations fairly and efficiently. “Claims of ‘world guru’, but can’t conduct even one exam in the country – Modi ji has completely ruined the entire education system. The generation whose future you are destroying – that same generation will hold you accountable,” Rahul said.
