CurvetAI raises Rs 6 crore in funding led by Merak Ventures

AI workspace startup CurvetAI has raised Rs 6 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Merak Ventures, with participation from angel investors. The company will use the money to strengthen its technology infrastructure, hire staff and develop capabilities that allow AI agents to execute workflows for users.Founded in December 2025 by Vivek Dubey and Utkarsh Gupta, the Pune-based company provides access to multiple AI models through a single platform. Users can compare outputs and combine text, image, audio and video capabilities within a project.CurvetAI said it has more than 1 lakh monthly users worldwide, with India and the United States its largest markets. It has begun generating revenue but did not disclose revenue figures, the number of paying customers or its valuation following the funding round.“The user is still expected to understand which model is best for a particular task and then figure out how to make different tools work together. We believe that complexity should sit with the platform,” said Dubey, co-founder and CEO.The company initially offered a platform for discovering AI tools and prompts. It subsequently shifted towards a workspace where users could access and combine models without moving between separate products.CurvetAI said its platform is used by individuals, teams and educational institutions. It has collaborations with GnaniAI, Rumik AI and Alibaba, although the announcement did not detail their commercial terms.“What gave us conviction was the founders’ ability to translate that insight into a product people were already using at scale, and to keep evolving it as the market moved,” said Sheetal Bahl, founding partner at Merak Ventures. The company also provides a distribution channel for model developers to reach users and collect feedback. Its planned agent-based capabilities are intended to handle more complex tasks on behalf of users.
