Lesnar’s gesture after his match at The Show of Shows had hinted that he was done inside the squared circle. However, the events of the May 18 edition of Monday Night RAW has changed the trajectory of the situation completely.
Brock Lesnar returns to WWE RAW in a major shocker
On the May 18 episode of Monday Night RAW, Oba Femi was set to host another open challenge. He strutted his way down to the ramp and entered the ring. As Femi was posing in the darkness, he was attacked from behind by a mystery man. As soon as the lights came back, he was revealed to be none other than Brock Lesnar, the same man Oba had defeated in the opening match of WrestleMania 42 Night 2.The Beast Incarnate laid a beatdown on The Ruler with a series of punches and multiple F-5s, leaving him battered in the middle of the ring. Lesnar’s shocking return garnered a loud pop from the audience, who were seemingly convinced that they would never see him back in the ring. Furthermore, as the RAW GM Adam Pearce made his way back to his office, Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman was already there. He then handed over a paper to Pearce and revealed that it was a contract for a match between Lesnar and Femi at Clash in Italy Premium Live Event, with Lesnar’s signature already on it.Brock Lesnar battled Oba Femi in a highly anticipated match at WrestleMania 42 in the opening contest. However, he was dominanted by the former NXT Champion like no other man had been able to do in many years, who went on to defeat him. Following the match, Lesnar took off his boots and gloves and left it in the middle of the ring.
