The first-ever pre-show of Bigg Boss Malayalam, Agnipareeksha, is just a day away, and fans are all excited. Adding more fuel to the excitement, the makers have released the first teaser, and it is full of surprises.The short teaser starts with a glimpse of the first task the contestants are expected to play. The 40 contestants are given a wall where a set of keys are hanging. Apparently, they are asked to pick a key and open the locks placed on the other side. Those who manage to find the right key and lock are welcomed to the show by the host, Raneesha Rahiman. But what about the others? Could 20 contestants face eviction in the very first episode? Fans will have to wait and watch.Drawing parallels with the Agnipariksha show featured in Bigg Boss Telugu 9, this pre-show will put the commoner contestants through a series of challenges to test their competency. Viewers can expect games and challenges that test the physical, emotional and intellectual abilities of the contestants.As per the updates, 40 contestants picked from different walks of life can be seen competing in the show.If Malayalam Bigg Boss also follows the pattern of Bigg Boss Telugu 9, fans can expect six contestants to make an entry into the house. There are also speculations that only one or two contestants will be selected from Agnipareeksha. However, there are no official updates on this.Reportedly, the winners of Agnipareeksha will be selected based on both the judges’ decisions and public voting.TV host and Season 1 contestant Ranjini Haridas, Season 4 finalist Riyas Salim and Season 5 winner Akhil Marar will be judging the show. Former contestants Kidilam Firoz, Firoz Khan and Veena Nair will also be joining the judging panel in different episodes.TV actress and Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 runner-up Raneesha Rahiman will be hosting the first-ever BB pre-show in Malayalam.Agnipareeksha will consist of 21 episodes, starting on Saturday, August 15.
