In a video posted on social media, she questioned Mary Kom’s version of what Mahhi had said and explained the context behind the comment.Gauahar said, “But bhai Mary Kom ji, aap legend hain yaar. Sab poora desh, poori duniya aapse pyaar karti hai. Aap sports ke naam mein itni badi hasti hain. Toh please thoda soch ke toh matlab idhar-udhar ki baatein kariye. Matlab agar aap yahaan se information leke kahin aur ja rahe hain, toh at least sach toh boliye.”(But Mary Kom ji, you are a legend. The entire country and the whole world loves you. You are such a huge name in sports. So please think a little before saying things here and there. If you are taking information from here and telling it elsewhere, then at least tell the truth.)She then explained what Mahhi had actually said in the episode. Gauahar added, “Maahi ne kal ke episode mein ye kaha ki yaar mujhe bura lag raha hai ki maine apni beti ki kasam kha li kuch prove karne ke liye. Aur uska matlab ye tha bolne ka ki yaar isko beta banane ke chakkar mein, like you know isko prove karne ke chakkar mein maine apni beti ki kasam kha li, which is a very big thing.”(Mahhi said in yesterday’s episode that she felt bad for swearing on her daughter just to prove something. What she meant was that while trying to make him her son and prove something, she ended up swearing on her daughter, which is a very big thing.)Gauahar clarified that while Mahhi did use an abusive word, it was not directed at Yung.
