Amkette has launched the Ergo Fold Pro, a folding aluminium stand that works as a laptop riser, a phone tripod and a handheld grip, priced at Rs 999. It is available in Grey and Black, and comes with a microfibre carry pouch. The pitch is straightforward: most people who work across a laptop, a tablet and a phone end up buying three separate accessories, and each one lives in a different bag. The Ergo Fold Pro folds flat enough to slide into a laptop sleeve and switches between the three roles instead. Handheld mode is meant for vlogging and selfies, tripod mode props the phone up for calls or recording, and unfolded it lifts a laptop or tablet to eye level. The stand offers eight adjustable angle steps, which is the part that decides whether a riser like this is actually usable at different desk heights. The phone holder is magnetic and rotates a full 180 degrees, so switching between portrait for reels and landscape for a video call does not mean unmounting anything. The more useful detail is the bundled magnetic ring. MagSafe-style magnet arrays are still not standard on most Android phones sold in India, and stands in this price band usually assume you have one. Amkette includes an adhesive ring so phones without built-in magnets can snap on too, which quietly widens the compatibility list.Build is aluminium, kept light enough that Amkette expects people to carry it daily. A dual-foot design with adjustable support legs gives it a wider base, and anti-slip silicone grips sit at the contact points to stop devices sliding or picking up scratches. At Rs 999, the Ergo Fold Pro is competing with a crowded field of sub-thousand-rupee laptop stands and phone holders on Amazon and Flipkart, most of which do one job. Doing three, with the magnetic ring thrown in, is the argument here.
