Music, memories and storytelling came together as the team of Phool Pishi O Edward directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee hosted an intimate musical evening celebrating the film’s soundtrack.The evening belonged to music as acclaimed composer Joy Sarkar, whose soulful compositions have emerged as one of the film’s highlights, filled the rooftop venue with enchanting guitar melodies. Joined by singers Suthirtha Chakraborty and Bonnie Basu, he presented an unplugged rendition of Moner Chabi Re, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, actors Raima Sen, Shyamoupti Mudly, Rishav Basu and Saheb Chattopadhyay joined the performers on stage, dancing and celebrating alongside the musicians.Debut playback singer Anashmita Ghosh captivated the audience with a heartfelt performance of Chole Jeyo Na, showcasing the freshness and emotional depth that have made the song a listener favourite.Though singer Annweshaa could not attend the event, her track Aampata Jaampata received a special tribute as Joy Sarkar himself took over vocal duties. Accompanied by his signature guitar strumming, the composer delivered one of the evening’s standout performances.

The celebrations culminated with Launch Chole, a song that has resonated with audiences across Bengal and Bangladesh alike. Paushali Banerjee and Dipanwita Acharyaa delivered a soulful live rendition with Joy Sarkar on guitar, before the stage transformed into a joyous reunion as the cast joined in for an unforgettable musical finale.

The evening was rich with songs and adda as the cast shared behind-the-scenes memories from the shoot. Actor Rajatava Dutta also reminisced about his long association with Shiboprosad, dating back to their theatre days.
