Would you have successfully guessed the country it’s located in?”He starts the video by saying, “This has to be the biggest scam in India.” He then explains his statement by adding, “It’s believing that every part of this country struggles with litter and has poor waste management.”He introduces Mawlynnong as the “Cleanest Village in Asia” and shares some of the practices followed there. According to him, the village has around 600 residents. Self-made bins have been placed every 100 meters, and there are designated places where people can spit. The traveller also says that keeping the village clean is a shared responsibility. Residents sweep the streets twice every day, while smoking and the use of plastic are banned.He further says, “Nicknamed God’s Own Garden, this village closes every Sunday to protect and maintain its status.”The video also shows daily life in the village, where residents work together to maintain the surroundings.
