The University of Delhi (DU) has opened the second round of seat allocation under the Common Seat Allocation System for Postgraduate programmes (CSAS-PG). The second round of counselling started on June 22 and will end on June 24, 2026. According to the university, 2,964 new seat allocations have been made in the second round. Candidates who have been allotted seats must complete the admission formalities within the prescribed timeline to secure their place in the programme.The university has asked candidates allotted seats in the second round to act promptly. Students should accept the allotted seats by 24 June 2026. Students will be obliged to make payment of fees after accepting the allotted seats by 27 June 2026.Non-compliance in completing any of the above processes within the allotted time will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat by the university.The second round of allocation has been uploaded to the postgraduate admission portal of the university. In addition to the allocation information, the university has uploaded the minimum score requirement for various postgraduate courses.The information about the program-wise minimum score helps applicants know their chances in subsequent rounds of admission.A total of 3,399 candidates among those who were allocated seats in the first round have frozen their seats. A total of 2,448 candidates have upgraded their seats.Meanwhile, 2,303 students have neither selected the freeze option nor applied for an upgrade, leaving uncertainty regarding their final admission decisions.
