A fire erupted in a Kalwar Road building’s parking area on Sunday afternoon
JAIPUR: Twelve motorcycles and three cars were gutted after a fire broke out in the parking area of a six-storey residential apartment on Jaipur’s Kalwar Road on Sunday afternoon.Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the blaze and evacuated more than 70 people from the building. No one was injured, they said.The fire spread quickly after engulfing the vehicles parked in the area.Thick smoke from the burning vehicles entered the apartment, causing breathing difficulties for some residents and triggering panic, police said.Four fire tenders were sent to the spot and brought the blaze under control.The cause of the fire was being investigated.
