HYDERABAD: 12 final year BDS students of Government Dental College and Hospital in Afzulgunj were booked on Tuesday night by Sultan Bazar police for ragging first year students.On the complaint of Dental College principal, Sanjeev Singh Yadav, police booked a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the TS Prohibition of Ragging Act against 12 students for subjecting a group of first year students to ragging at the men’s hostel in Osmania Medical College campus in Koti.On the recommendations of the anti-ragging committee of the college, the 12 students have already been suspended for six months by the college administration.
