A few days ago, YouTuber Anurag Dobhal dropped a gut-wrenching video that left fans wondering and confused. He called it his “last vlog,” tearfully announcing he’s quitting YouTube amid what he described as unbearable mental harassment from his own family.In the video, Anurag broke down saying his life had “drastically changed” in ways he never imagined, leaving him shattered. He even revealed attempting suicide, blaming the ordeal squarely on his parents, brother Kalam, and someone named Shreya, stating, “Mere maut ke zimmedar mummy, papa, Kalam (brother) and Shreya hain. I have nothing left to do anything. I am under a lot of depression”.

Now, Anurag’s brother, content creator Kalam Ink, has hit back hard on Instagram Stories, dismissing the claims as a bid for attention. Kalam wrote on his Instagram stories, “I am a man of my words. All the proofs have been given in my broadcast channel. Also chill maro sab (just chill), it’s his daily thing jo wo karta hai (what he does) for views. One side story post kardi bhai, maine par sach nahi bataya (He posted a one-sided story but did not tell the truth)”.He urged fans to stay out of it, adding, “Also, my message to all my fans, in sab me mat pado (Don’t get into all this). He loves traction on Instagram. He filed a fake case on us, mom, dad and jab ye wo case haar gaya legally, to he posted this s*** a** video kyu ki Ritika ne bhi isko chod diya cause of his doing”. Kalam pointed to his podcast channel for evidence, framing Anurag’s video as revenge after losing a legal battle and his wife leaving.

Anurag pinned the family tension on his inter-caste marriage to long-time girlfriend Ritika Chauhan in May 2025. He claimed his parents rejected the union, barring him and Ritika from the house and forcing him to handle wedding costs alone just days before the event.The couple had joyfully announced their first child in September 2025, but Anurag said even Ritika had walked away amid the chaos, according to an Indian Express report. Anurag’s accusations included his brother threatening to “expose” him online.
