Malayalam star Shane Nigam embarks on his Telugu cinema journey with an action thriller, portraying a racer. Director Udagandla Balasagar highlights the film’s blend of thrilling action and a poignant mother-son emotional core. Nigam is undergoing intensive training for the demanding, night-set racing sequences, promising a fresh portrayal of his acting prowess.

Malayalam actor Shane Nigam is set to make his Telugu debut in an untitled action thriller directed by Udagandla Balasagar. Nigam, known for films such as Kumbalangi Nights and RDX, plays a racer in the project and is currently learning Telugu for the role.

Balasagar previously worked as an assistant director on Devara: Part 1 and as an assistant editor on DJ Tillu, Shyam Singha Roy, and Jersey. Talking about the script, Balasagar says, “While it is an action thriller, the story also has strong emotional layers, particularly around a mother–son relationship. Shane has been exploring a range of scripts, and this film will present a different side of him as an actor.”

Nigam is currently honing his skills behind the wheel to meet the film’s rigorous production demands. “The racing element is central to the story, and he is currently undergoing training for it. Much of the narrative unfolds at night and features several intense, stunt-heavy sequences,” adds the director.
