Nagpur: Revenue minister and Amravati guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Thursday directed the administration to complete fire audits and emergency fire drills at all major establishments within a month.The order comes after the August 24 blaze in the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit, which killed three newborns. Bawankule said negligence in the wake of the tragedy would not be tolerated. The fire-audit is intended to extend beyond hospitals, covering major establishments across Amravati district.
