Filmmaker Siddharth Anand, known for his action thrillers is currently working on his upcoming project ‘King’ with Shah Rukh Khan. Recently, he shared his excitement to watch Yash’s upcoming film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’. The filmmaker recently shared that he has booked his tickets for the gangster action thriller ahead of its August 26 release.

The ‘Pathaan’ director took to X and said that he is looking forward to watching the film walking in theatres without knowing what to expect. He wrote, “Booked tickets for FD for #TOXIC. Going into a theatre not knowing what to expect. This feeling is so good!!”Siddharth Anand also had a lot of praise for Yash and his journey as a star. He wrote, “YASH is that superstar – so exciting and so unpredictable! He’s broken the mould.”The filmmaker also praised the film after watching its promotional material.He added, “Everything about the film is looking fantastic and dynamic! Speaking of ‘Toxic’, it is directed by Geetu Mohandas and is co-written by Yash and Geetu. Yash plays a dual role in the film as a father and a son. Their relationship forms an important part of the story, which is set against a dark and violent gangster world. The film is set in Goa between the early 1940s and the 1970s along with the rise of local crime syndicates and smuggling networks.‘Toxic’ also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. The film will be released worldwide on August 26.

Meanwhile, Siddharth Anand is currently busy with his upcoming film ‘King’, which stars Shah Rukh Khan.
