NEW DELHI: Hyundai Motor India will raise prices across its vehicle portfolio by up to 1% from Sept, as rising input and commodity costs continue to weigh on automakers. The increase will vary depending on the model and variant. The company cited higher operational expenses as well as continuing geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainties for the revision, saying it was passing on only part of the increased costs to buyers. This will be Hyundai’s third price hike this year. It had raised prices by 0.6% from Jan and by up to Rs 12,800 from June 1. tnn
