Tanmay Vekeria, who is popularly known for playing the role of Bagha from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has added a new luxury car to his collection. The actor recently bought the swanky vehicle, reportedly worth Rs 65 lakh, and video of his special moment is going viral on social media.In the video, Tanmay is seen visiting a car showroom with his family to take delivery of his new luxury car. Dressed casually, he twinned in white with his son and daughter. His wife was also by his side as the family celebrated the special occasion together. Tanmay was seen completing the paperwork before taking the car home. Tanmay made sure to seek his parents’ blessings on the special day.He carried photographs of his parents and offered prayers before taking delivery of the new car. Tanmay and his family then performed a puja and aarti for their new car. He also broke a coconut as part of the traditional ceremony before taking the car home. Towards the end of the video, Tanmay gave fans a glimpse of his luxurious BMW. The family also celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake. The video concluded with Tanmay taking the new car for its first drive as fireworks went off around him.Tanmay has been part of the longest running sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for years now. His character was earlier introduced as a cameo but due to the popularity, the makers decided to make the role a full-fledged role.In an earlier conversation with Times of India TV, Tanmay spoke about playing Bagha in TMKOC. He said, “I don’t mind people calling me Bagha instead of Tanmay. If there is Bagha, then there is Tanmay. Playing Baga has given me so much love and recognition. In real life, I am completely different from the character Bagha. His body language, hairstyle, and way of speaking are all different from mine. That’s the challenge and the beauty of acting. I believe we are lucky because we get to live two lives in one. For me, being known as Baga is a blessing, and that’s how I see it.”
