The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has started the online application process for the recruitment of 93 Scientist, Engineer ‘SC’ posts in various engineering disciplines. The recruitment is being conducted through the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB).Eligible candidates can apply online through the official ISRO website, isro.gov.in. ISRO recruitment 2026: Eligibility and selection process

Candidates must have the required engineering qualification in the relevant discipline. They must also have a valid GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 score in the discipline for which they are applying.ISRO will shortlist candidates for interviews in a 1:7 ratio based on their GATE score. The shortlist will be prepared using the GATE score and not the GATE marks or rank.The organisation will verify the GATE score provided by candidates in their application forms. Candidates are required to enter correct information, as providing false details may lead to action.The interview will assess candidates on their technical knowledge, subject knowledge, presentation and communication skills, comprehension and academic performance.For Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science posts, the final selection will be based on 50% weightage for the GATE score and 50% for the interview. Candidates from the unreserved category must secure at least 60% in aggregate. Relaxation in the qualifying criteria will be applicable to reserved categories as per the rules.
