Indore: A 17-year-old boy was killed and a man sustained serious injuries after two motorcycles collided head-on in Neemuch district on Wednesday night. The accident took place at a crossroads between Pipliya Jagir and Ghasundi Jagir villages under Jiran police station limits.The deceased was identified as Vikas Meena, a resident of Khadweliya village. According to police, he was riding towards his village when his motorcycle collided with another bike coming from the opposite direction.The other rider, Vinod Damami (35), a resident of Chitakheda, was returning home after playing a dhol at a ceremonial function in Khadweliya village when the crash occurred.After receiving information, a 108 ambulance team comprising EMT Akshay Jatav and pilot Bharat Kumar rushed to the spot and shifted both injured men to district hospital. Doctors declared Vikas dead on arrival, while Vinod, who sustained serious injuries, was admitted for treatment. His condition is stated to be stable.Vikas’ body was sent for postmortem examination and handed over to his family. Police have registered a case.
