MUMBAI: A construction crane collapsed from the 13th floor of a high-rise building in Mumbai’s Mira Road on Thursday evening, killing one person and crushing several vehicles parked below.The incident took place at the JP North residential complex near JK Iris in Mira Road.According to preliminary information, a major portion of the crane crashed into the parking area, damaging multiple parked cars and trapping debris beneath it.Emergency services, including rescue teams and local police, rushed to the spot soon after the collapse.Rescue operations were launched immediately to clear the debris and search for anyone who may have been trapped.Initial reports said one person sustained critical injuries in the collapse.
