The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Tamil Nadu has released the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2026 MBA rank list on the official website, tn-mbamca.com. Candidates who registered for the counselling process can now check and download the rank list by logging in through the candidate portal.The TANCET 2026 rank list has been prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in the MBA entrance examination. The candidate with the highest percentile score has been given the top rank according to the counselling rules. The rank list will decide the order in which candidates will be called for the counselling process.As per the counselling schedule, the grievance redressal window will remain open till July 20, 2026. Counselling for special category candidates will begin on July 23, while MBA counselling will be conducted from July 30 to August 5, 2026.

TANCET 2026 tie-breaking rules
If two or more candidates secure the same score in the TANCET 2026 examination, the Directorate of Technical Education will apply tie-breaking rules to decide their ranks. Candidates with higher section-wise marks will be given a better rank. If the tie still remains, the older candidate, based on the date of birth, will be placed higher in the rank list.The TANCET 2026 rank list includes important details such as the candidate’s rank, application number, name, gender, date of birth, marks, and community rank.
