Director Manu Anand heaped praise for the Malayalam comedy drama film ‘Mollywood Times’ directed by Abhinav Sunder Nayak and starring Naslen. Taking to his social media handle the ‘Aaryan’ director strongly recommended the film to filmmakers and cinema lovers.

He wrote, “Every filmmaker should watch this film. Every cinema lover should experience this movie to know the pain, trials, betrayals and agendas hidden behind a movie!”
The film reminded him of his own experiences
Manu Anand said watching the film made him think about his own journey in the film industry. He felt that many moments in the movie were very close to what he had personally experienced while making his films. He also praised the way those emotions were shown on screen. He wrote, “Sometimes it felt that someone stole my own mind voice and experiences while making the two films I made and made this film. Strongly recommended.”As the caption for his post, he added, “A filmmaker’s inner voice! The trials, the struggles and betrayals of cinema is beautifully engraved in every frame.” In addition to it, Manu Anand also appreciated director Abhinav Sunder Nayak and actor Naslen for their work in the film. He praised Abhinav for making such a meaningful movie and called Naslen’s performance brilliant.While Manu Anand did not explain exactly which personal experiences he was referring to, his post showed how deeply the film connected with him.
